quick mask mode tutorial

HOWTO use the quick mask mode in photoshop. press Q on your keyboard to enter or exit the quick mask mode.
this was done in cs3, but it works the same in earlier versions.

made in photoshop cs3, recorded with snaps pro 2, edited in quicktime pro, sound edited in bias peak 5 and soundsoap 2.

What button do you press at 3:02 to add that red color?

press alt/option+backspace to fill with foreground colour,

press ctrl/cmd+backspace to fill with background colour.

when youve done quick mask what do you press to accept the selection

there is no version of photoshop called CS6.

i have no idea what program you are using.

Pressing Q doesn't get me to mask mode. And there's no quick mask Icon under the toolbar. I do not know how to use this CS6.

just press Q on your keyboard.

alternatively, in CS4, quickmask is the very bottom icon in the toolbar.
