In the Arms of the Angels; Kaylove's Story

This is Kaylove, she is either a 3 or 4 year old Jack Russell Yorkshire Terrier mix. She came to us on the same day we got Cyndle, though we were only supposed to watch her for two weeks.

The day we got her, she looked awful, Her fur was straggly, long thing, and unkempt. She was also missing most of it under her chin due to the fact that we later found out that she'd been kept tied up outside by her choke chain.

That day we bought her a proper collar. And then later a harness. We also noticed some behavioural things that were odd... She was a very shy dog, that would often crouch down, and flatten herself on the ground. This was rather strange. We also noticed that she didn't have the ability to keep her bladder at all, and we were cleaning up after her piddles that she's make just by us reaching down to pick her up. She also SCREAMED like you were going to beat her, when you reached down to pet her.

We decided that we weren't going to let her og back to the original owner, though if they pushed we would but leave a tip with the SPCA or Animal Control that we suspected abuse. Though the two weeks past, and the original owner was no where to be seen. She was now ours. We changed her name, and started to work with her. And well now she is a healthy happy little dog that loves to play, and be with people. Now her only screams are of pure excitement when she sees her human daddy.

What a gorgeous dog, and what a beautiful story. Thanks for sharing this wonderful video and reminding us all how important rescue can be.

And...I can only imagine the abuse through neglect he obviously must have endured...I see glimpses into his once sad heart...because of how he greets me...even when I am away for a few moments; aso how he stays very close. I am so glad for Kaylove's new life. Such a beautiful dog I am sure she is a loyal, giving treasure. A wonderful story. Again, thank you for sharing pictures of Kaylove; reminding us how important and crucial rescuing is.

Thank you. I have a terrier mix that I rescued. Simalr to your dear, sweet Kaylove. the smiling expression. Everyday "Winston" say thank you". Abused and neglected and every return I am greeted with his love. i adore this animal. he too has come around. The light of my life...my sweet prince, my loyal friend. Dear Winston, my dear boy.
