Modeling gets very similar sound nowadays, but it still doesn't feel the same... that's my main reason for staying with tubes

@FMGProductions100 The Revalver is an amp modeling program used as a plugin for sequencers such as FL studio or Cubase. It's very similar to Guitar Rig and Amplitube, but it's made by Peavey and is better than Guitar Rig.

@Hellraiserzzz Oh did it? I wouldn't have guessed considering IT'S THE REAL AMP. derp.
-
Are all the settings the same on this? I've heard much nastier things out of the 6505 then that! the impulse is meh and the axe fx... ITS A FUCKING AXE FX \m/ :D

The software is called Peavey Revalver, it's a plugin very similar to Guitar Rig but made by Peavey.

What's this Revalver 6505? Never heard of it, is it for guitar rig?
-
Axe FX, takes it, followed by the Revalver, interestingly enough.

@guitarramaniacx That all boils down to personal preference. If you like the Axe Fx over the real deal, you'll have a hell of a tool in your hands if you pick one up. I just personally dig the simplicity of the real deal tube rig. Guitar -> Power conditioner -> OD/Delay/Noise Gate -> 6505 or Roadster(whichever one i'm hooked up to at the moment) -> Cab. The axe has too many parameters to tweak for me. >.>
peavey 6505 owners will hate but... i think the revalver and the Axe sound better than the real thing

lmao damn the revalver sounds almost the same as the axe fx. Maybe because it's made by a company who actually makes amps, and took the time to simulate powertubes. Unlike other companies.
