Top Surgery - Big Change of Plans

After going back and forth on the issue a lot internally, I've decided that waiting until I can afford Steinwald is just not the best or healthiest choice for me. I've decided to instead go to Dr. Medalie in Cleveland. My surgery is scheduled for May 19th! I'm beyond excited, but I'm also dreading telling my parents about it.

Dude...I am keepin you in my thoughts. I am stoked for you to have a date scheduled! Maybe you need to keep this under your hat with the parents....if they notice later, then deal with saying "I had a reduction" sort of thing....just an idea. I think that is what I would do in your position.

@MainelyButch Yeah, I think I may make another video that clarifies the reasons why I will probably tell my parents. There are a lot of emotional and practical factors that I didn't talk about in this video.

Wow, congrats, Ashton! I think Medalie does excellent work and I am sure your results will be fantastic. I think it's worth it to shell out/make it work to see the surgeon who will give you the best chest--it's yours for the rest of your life, why risk it? This is why I chose the surgeon I did and I am 100000x glad I chose him over others. Good luck getting everything together for surgery and planning your next steps.
