The Carolinas Aviation Museum in Charlotte, North Carolina, had arranged to acquire the entire aircraft as a donation from Chartis Insurance. Now at the museum, the airframe will be reassembled and displayed in the same configuration as it was when it was pulled out of the Hudson River in January 2009 and will be conserved, as opposed to restored. The expected date for opening the display is the third anniversary of the flight in 2012"
