Folks, some of you are saying that Blackberry is well made and durable. Have a look at my other video, "BLACKBERRY 9100 PROBLEMS, PART 2". It's not just me saying Blackberry is bad and the documentation is there. The weblink is:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RHpb7V8FR-I

I made the mistake of buying a Blackberry for personal use even though our company has long been using Blackberry's with a not so great record of reliability.

My phone was only 4 weeks old before the screen lens started to literally become unglued. I called Blackberry, which is easier than it sounds, because they try to make it hard to find their contact info, and even then, they told me to get lost.

I found that there are many others out there also experiencing problems no matter what model of Blackberry they have bought. For a phone that can cost up to $500 or even more depending on model, Blackberry/RIM, you sure make one VERY POOR product.

I will gladly take an Iphone, Motorola, Nokia, or something made in Japan, than a Blackberry.

Please share this and my Part 2 video, or any other video, to as many people as possible. WE HAVE TO STOP SUPPORTING CORPORATE GREED AND INCOMPETENCY SUCH AS THIS.

RIM, you should be ashamed at stealing our money and putting forth this fake image you have, all in the interest of corporate profits and continuing to live in shameless luxury at our expense.

I will NEVER, EVER, buy or recommend a RIM/Blackberry product to ANY of my friends, co-workers, clients, or customers. EVER.

  • Actually, most of my friends have BlackBerries, and they're of amazing quality. I have a BlackBerry Pearl 9100 as well, and it's quite good. The screen's well put together. I don't know why you hate on BlackBerries. There's a lot of other phones out there that are completely shit. People also compain about the iPhone signal issue.... yet they continue to use it. The free bumper? My friend has an iPhone 4, and says it doesn't help too much. Just deal with it buddy.

  • @whoispandachoi- appreciate your comments but if they are so good, why did my screen unglue itself after 4 days? Why won't BB or the carrier warranty it? Why did every single manager (about 20) in my branch have to get them replaced within 6 months? Why are there so many BB problems people blog about? I've received a number of messages stating they've had the same issues. My Nokia and Ericson are failproof. No friends with iPhones have ever had problems either.

  • @CarGuy1368 My software is up to date it says, and I did the LGLG thing, But it still is freezing :/ , BUT much less!

  • @TheAmazingAhmad no prob. Glad your phone is working now :) Did you update your software or do the weird "alt lglg" thing?

  • @CarGuy1368 OMG YOUR A LIFE SAVER. AFTER MONTH stupid Wind Mobile(Canadian Phone Carrier) said i need to delete crap of my phone and that never worked! Thanks SO MUCH! :D

  • @TheAmazingAhmad Is your phone's software up to date? If it is, try typing into your phone (at the main screen when you unlock the keypad) this exactly while holding "alt": lglg

Hit the menu key and select "clear log." This will not delete important files or information on your phone.

    That might help...

  • @CarGuy1368 I only have Facebook, Blackberry App World, MSN, and Twitter Installed. I have 1GB free on my sd card.

  • @TheAmazingAhmad Do you have any apps installed? Some apps (or too many apps) can slow your phone down and make it freeze. My Bold 9900 would freeze sometimes during the first week I owned it, but I went into the App World and it turned out I had to update some apps. The freezing stopped.

  • I had a BlackBerry Torch 9800 that I lost outside in the snow at a park. It was in the same park in both snow and rain for three weeks, yet someone found it and turned it into the police department. The thing still had battery life! They went in my contacts and called my house so I got my phone back. Too bad I already bought the new Bold 9900... Still try to use the old Torch though! Everything still works...

  • for about 4 years i have 2 blackberry's and they still work very good. I have 8120 (4 years old), 8520 curve (2 years old) and 9300. On 8520 my sister drops acetone and the only problem was that the dysplay is not that bright. It had gained my respect.

  • Had my 9100 for 15month now only problem is freezing. No screen breaking or bad keyboard or whatever. Only freezing im experiencing.. Still is really annoying

  • @justanormalguy999 Because you guys obviously got shipped a bad batch. If you're all in the same geographic area, the odds of all your managers having issues could only be explained in that regard if they were all the same phone.

As a flip, all your friends got a good batch of Iphones even though so many other people have issues. That's call QA understanding and Logistics knowledge. You may work in an office, but have a poor understanding of how a business works.
