Missouri State students participated in a community-wide volunteer project over the course of the Sept. 29 weekend. Over 100 students took part in Into the Streets, a project where students from MSU volunteer with local Springfield charities for the weekend to help with community projects.

This year students volunteered at the YMCA, Habitat for Humanity, Pregnancy Care Center, Ozarks Food Harvest and more. The Standard's Sarah Smith went out to document their efforts over the course of the weekend.
