Has AutoSpies.com finally proved Infiniti has beaten BMW?

Agent 001 talks to one of the lead engineers of the 2008 Infiniti G37, Steve Neece.

Steve has had hundreds of hours testing the new Infiniti G37 and BMW 335 on the road and on the track and he shares his insight on why he thinks the new G37 has finally bested the BMW 335 coupe.

very good point ....but there is no Infiniti that can mess with the M5...but there are beamers that can stand up to some ferraris....but anyway...both cars are nice ....but BMW is just more complete than infiniti....The fact that the Infinity is aiming to beat a BMW tells us who sets the benchmark

In my humble opinion ...folks just treat you diferent when you pull up in a BMW compared to nissan....335i has good enough performance along with BMs luxury and German automotive engineering....I woulndt know much about nissan luxury...All 3 cars hav good performance but I believe BMW gives you alittle extra more.

I traded in my 2007 pile of shit Jaguar S type and got the M45...great car...I have driven it in all sorts of conditions and I am thrilled. My S type was having transmission issues at 30K miles(warranty was a no-go) Thank god I am rid of that junk. Overall I think Infiniti is a great luxury car with amazing interior. Only thing is (as all lux cars) the damn maintenance is gonna be expensive when it needs a 60K, but thats down th road.

Get the 370z, you can get the performance for under $35K. BMW yes gives free maintenance, but after that you will pay and arm and a leg for maintenance. Plus, I don't like the BMW stigmata. Come on, they aren't the ultimate driving machine and a lot of the time whenever I see a BMW on the road the driver thinks they are the kind of the road and drives like an idiot.

BMW, for sure. There all great cars, but BMW also offers free maintenance (oil, brakes, check ups, etc.) for four years and on all luxury cars that can be very expensive for parts and labor. Although I'm a little biased because I have a 2004 325i and I think it's just a wonderful vehicle. Let me know what you decide on "TheInfinity37."
