Spellcaster Lock Down Deck Profile

Here's my Spellcaster lock down deck, my own build, but uses Dark Magician as the main monster. Let me know what you think of the deck and if you have any suggestions let me know. (:

Main point of the deck is to set up Secret Village and have Decree out, then you get out your big beater, Dark Magician and/or Dark Magician Girl. (Mainly Dark Magician) With them unable to activate spells or traps you got them stuck. So just keep running them over with you big monsters while using Book of Moon, Shrink, etc, for support.

pretty cool deck. i run a similar one around endymion and dark warlock. with guest appearences from dark paladin.

Actually I like how you run shrink and very little traps. Solidarity can give a mega boost to your monsters but with shrink, there are more spell counters involved.

@meameajones I actually did consider Solidarity, but then I had way to many spells, but taking out Megamorph and Mage power for 2 of them does seem like a good idea. I guess I can replace marshmellon for a third defender. Thanks for the suggestion man (:

i think that you should include some more traps to even out the ratio. I recommend hidden book of spell to recycle 2 spell cards in the graveyard back into your deck.

This deck would be great for fun recreational duels but would absolutely get destroyed in a competitive duel or tournament sorry if that came off blunt. Dark Magician and Dark Magician related cards are starting to get useless nowadays and in this deck format power isnt really needed, i would highly recommend a chaos sorcerer and crusader of endymion(which would work great with a breaker, defender, or arcanite)

ever think of solidarity? take out megamorph and mage power and take out marshmallon.
