Actually, Southern Methodist University is accronymed SMU, not SMSU.

Missouri State should really become a wet campus. More money would be flowing in and a lot more students would be happier. Ever since it became dry, everything went in a downward spiral. Down the street at Drury, they're a wet campus and they're doing just fine.

Southern Methodist University is SMU. Also, just as an FYI SMSU was usually referred to as "SMS". Just speaking as someone who graduated from SMS...but as a person who lived in Dallas many years.

no, SMS is southern methodist university. The one is springfield WAS SMSU-until the Missouri Legislature legally changed it's name to Missouri State Univiersity YEARS AGO-Wake up and pay attention to the world around you DVhollon

I attended both SMS and MU. Believe me, academically or in sports, SMS is no MU. Want an example? Look at all the empty seats in the far side stands. Never happen at MU.

When I recorded this, this was the day before classes started. That is why there is no one on the other side. They do a concert on the football field and invite everyone who wants to hear samples of songs that they'll do during the football season.

SMS's fight song sucks compared to Fight Tiger and I welcome SMS to Faurot Field any day. You'll get your butts handed to you just like you did in Manhattan against the K-State Wildkittens.

I believe that in football. I'm not so sure about basketball though.
