I really wasn't going to buy this until I saw your video. The official videos use it on super clean carpet. Thanks, waiting for it to be shipped.

I am 14 years old and while my parents were at work my dog shit all over the carpet. i knew i could use the Bissell power steamer but u didnt know HOW to use it and this video didnt help at all

Dear sir. I want to buy this mashine but PLEASE PLEASE answer me, do i need to vacuum with the regular vacuum cleaner BEFORE i use this one? Or it does everything??? Thank you very much!!!
Sorry If the video didnt explain how to use it, It was really to display how well it works. Open the water container, fill the inner bag with Hot water from the Tap, add in a measure of carpet cleaner using the measuring cup on the inside of the lid. Replace the lid, place the water container back inside the Bissell, make sure your dial is turned to the FLOOR selection. Squeeze the trigger while driving forwards over the area to be cleaned, then release the trigger while dragging backwards.

Thanks for your input. Question. You said you've had this for four years. I've been wanting to get one of these but I keep reading that the heater gets clogged and it won't dispense after a while. What have you done to keep this from happening? Thanks

@mark40511 running a half a cup of vinegar through a full tank of water helps keep the grime from building up and clogging the jets.

Yeesh.. Big Red, Red is always terribly hard to get out. Darn near impossible. I've tried a bunch of different stuff and what's worked best is oxyclean.. pretreat it and scrub it with your hands or a bowl of some laundry detergent and water and a scrub brush to try to attack the stain then use the Bissel to rinse and suck up. It's helped but its not a miracle cure. That red dye is a monster for carpets.
