PES 2011 Become a Legend (Striker) Top Player Goals Compilation

This is the 3rd part of a trilogy of videos. It's a goal compilation of matches played over a season with some epic own goals included as well.

Not exactly playing BAL mode. I was frustrated (initially) with teammate and manager AI in the actual BAL mode (there are a host of AI problems that SEABASS and Konami neglected to fix for reasons unbeknownst to me) and so I started a league mode with a created player Shane playing in a dream team of Torres, Gerrard, Caragher, Reina, Joe Cole, Essien, Messi, Sneijder, Schweinsteigger, Bastos Ramos, Ibrahimovic, Lucio etc. Unlike the last 2 videos where I played as a left winger (season 1), this time (season 2) I played as a striker partnering Ibrahimovic upfront.

I controlled only Shane (fixed player cursor just like BAL). I used Ronaldo's stats as the base (believe me it was still difficult as hell at top player) I did this because didn't want to play in any other difficulty except TOP PLAYER and I felt I wasn't ready for the actual mode yet (frustration too) and I also wanted to toy around with the strategy and tactics (which I obviously can't in BAL) to see how I can optimize the teammate AI. Surprisingly, having world class players as teammates lessens the frustration only mildly.

However, after toying with the team playing style and tactics for over a season, I believe I have found the optimal tweak for playing BAL style in a team of superstars. Just like in real life, you need very high player support and pressing. I also played a more compact formation to take advantage of one touch passing from the midfielders, notably Gerrard, Xavi and Sneijder.

Playing centrally as a support striker was actually more fun and productive (in goals & assists) than a winger. It is also a lot easier (perhaps I have improved). However, I remained a two trick (running inside bounce into diagonal take and rainbow flick) pony. Those 2 tricks are just too effective and since I play to win, I spammed them like no tomorrow.


Music: Gran Turismo 4 theme ~ Moon over the Castle also used in part 2. I used the extended orchestra mix though. It is perfect for such compilation videos.

@rutter23 Well I'm not sick of using it :) Anyway with the new patch, rainbow flick is now underpowered so I don't use it anymore. Playing coop with a friend and scoring with other tricks now.
