The New West Rep

A customer gets an unexpected surprise when he meets his new rep. This is a video I made for our upcoming national meeting -- we have a "YouTube"-style competition each year. It's filled with West in-jokes, so it might not be that funny to everyone, but it's pretty funny even if you don't know what's going on.

Here's a translation for non-West people:

1. Managers ride with reps a lot. Very few are 18 months old.
2. Every customer asks if we're there to save them money. This is how we wish we could answer.
3. Simultaneous usage: West code for "you have more attorneys than you're paying for."
4. More attorneys = more $ and a sale for us. Hence "Upband!"
5. Every customer says they're going to talk to Lexis. If they've renewed, they have no choice but to upband.
6. Last four of SSN starts the electronic signature process.
7. If a customer clicks twice, they screw up the whole e-order process.
8. Barcelona is where President's Club trip-winners are going this year.
