ADHD does not just impact school kids; it's in the workplace, too. As an adult with ADHD, Maile Lesica shares 4 ways to turn an employee's ADHD into an asset.
Lesica is a student at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, Class of 2013, and is part of the LOWkeynotes initiative.
Visit these websites to learn more about LOWkeynotes, a collaborative effort between Stanford's Center for Leadership Development and Research and the Mastery in Communication Initiative.

At first I wasn't sure how I felt about this presentation, but when you got to the 4 C's, I can relate 100%. I feel that I should also point out that for me at least, I take Adderall for ADHD, and that does wonders for managing the negative aspects of ADHD, but even when I take it, the 4 C's still apply. I'm always still going to be sooo much more productive if I'm doing something that requires creative thinking or if I'm able to hyper-focus on a project that nobody else seems to want to finish.

She's very lucky to have had a child psychiatrist as a doting father. I'd wager that most of us with ADHD had fathers who just reacted to the obnoxiousness most ADHD kids exhibit and wound up destroying our self esteem.

I feel like the audience could have learned more about the positives--perhaps the speech came from an assumtion of the positive utility of ADHD thinkers. Overall, more useful than a lot of the other junk out there!
