  • Perhaps but I'm not sure..remember what did the 70's in was the energy crisis..add that in.. if not for energy shrtages and opec price increases.. things might have sailed along for decades.. they might never have soured...the Hayek Friedman supply siders had their 30 years its like the roaring twenties was an orgy of decadence and materialism and the hangover was the depression history has repeated itself, Keynesianism is back Socialism is back andindividualism is out

    and we shall see

  • The prosperity of the 50's and 60's you refer to wasn't sustainable; the glut of the 1970's had to occur. You can't just drop money out of the sky (Kenyesianism) and think you're creating wealth.

  • just go to the website i'm there now its a great series and its uncensored this guy has cut out any part that shows how Keynsian policies really really worked well for several decaded there is a lot of evidence they created a stable prosperous economy througout the 50s and 60s.. forexample germanys social market model
