I believe that Jane Asher was a girlfriend of Pauls, but she was never his wife. Linda was his first wife.

@pinkfantasy9 (sigh) okay here is my answer. john hit her ONE time, when they were dating. he saw her dancing with someone else and he was afraid to lose her. he felt terrible and apologised to her and he never did it again. but it was right after his mother died when he was just getting close to her. he was in a lot of pain then, and he had a lot of bitterness.

@beatlebaby4ever haha yeah they were engaged but paul was taking lsd and he cheated on her so she broke it off. i love paul though. i can see how with pressure to the baand and drugs the boys made some mistakes.
