  • Just a note... Dont put the fire extinguisher next to the stove... thats where the fire will be. Keep it away from the stove and not buried under the sink!

  • Make sure it is not expired. Why do stores and commercial applications have to do maintenance but not home fire extinguishers. Point is they do need to be checked monthly. Take a look at the Quick Draw fire extinguisher.

  • You might want to keep a BC in the ketchen and ABC in other places. When an ABC us used, if the stove is hot enough, it melts and covers everything. Cleanup would be even harder if it was like an over. A BC usually has baking soda, so after use, you can just wipe up. Some review people like Americas test kitchen rated a BC just as good as and ABC when putting out a towel

  • Not advised to store extinguisher under sink instead place extinguisher near an exit.

    Fire Extinguishers should be checked monthly.

    Read instructions prior to use and once used replace.
