They look like decent LCDs besides the probs, hope you got your exchange, I have a question do you know if it can flip the image in to give a mirror effect so flipping it over, is there an option in the menu for it.

Got tthe same unit from DX and same problem, however i found mine works when i connect the power supply on the little "multi" cable that comes with the unit.
Plugging directly into the unit gives me the same problem.
