i was just gona say who would be stupid enough to put a sub in an mr2 bcoz i was thinkin that you wud put them in the boot lol but i see you got a quite a good setup

If I remember, they are around 5 or 6" thick.

I wanted to cut out the storage compartment and build fiberglass boxes for 2- 8" subs. Keeping the seat fully adjustable (which is good if your over 6'2") and give the subs more room in front of them.
Also, in a 2 seat car the mids and highs should only be installed in front of the passengers. Read Ken Blake's soundkwest MR2 write up.
Hope this doesn't sound too critical because I'm sure it sounds good; I just have a passion for car audio and love the MR2.

That seems like a good setup. I did have just the component set in the front and I did not like how it sounded, I fit much bigger speakers in the back and it gives it much more of a full sound.
