Absolutely, Oniarannam!!! Those were the days of the great ladies of comedy! There was also Joan Davis and Martha Raye, who were more clowns and acquired tastes though no less talented than Lucy, Eve Arden, et al.

THANKS for sharing this. "My Little Margie" was such a fun show...thanks to the strong comedic talents of old pros like Charles Farrell (a huge star of silent movies) & Gale Storm (who in addition to being a good actress was also a fine singer). They didnt mind gettin silly on this show...there's even an episode where Charles gives Margie an old fashioined over the knee spanking! Let 'em try something like that on today's politically correct shows! Happy holidays to one & all! :)

In Gale's bio she states Freddy (the actor) was quite the playboy, always had girls on his arm at every taping.
