CRUISING ON A JONAS BROTHERS LOVE STORY chp 3

[The girls are eating dinner the next day in one of the restaurants]
SHERYLL: So, Sam, did you talk to John before we left?
SAM: I couldn't. I was so mad at him that I haven't actually spoken to him since that day I caught him cheating on me.
SARAH: Don't you think you should have?
SAM: No. I did send him a text message though saying that we were through and I never want to see him again.
SHERYLL: Well, he was a real jerk and you don't need him.
SARAH: I wonder what's coming this year. I mean it's our last year of high school, and there's bound to be more drama.
SHERYLL: Well whatever happens, I know we'll always stay best friends.
SARAH: Of course.
SAM: Sheryll, didn't you have something to tell us.
SHERYLL: Yeah, but I'm not sure if you guys are going to believe me.
SARAH: Come on. Tell us.
SHERYLL: I met Joe Jonas.
SARAH: Really? They're here?
SHERYLL: Yeah, and that's not even the best part.
SAM: The suspense is killing me.
SHERYLL: I was out on the deck and there were dolphins swimming close to the ship. So I was leaning over get a better look at them and I would have fallen if Joe didn't hold on to me.
SAM: Oh my gosh! Did you meet Nick and Kevin?
SHERYLL: No, I haven't.
SARAH: Do you think you'll see him again?
SAM: Hello. We are on a ship. They don't really have anywhere to hide.
[They all laugh]
SAM: This food is great!
SARAH: I don't think my stomach agrees. My stomach is ready to send it back up.
SHERYLL: Are you seasick? Why didn't you tell us?
SARAH: I didn't know until now!
[They rush back to their room after paying the bill]

[The guys are in Kevin's room]
JOE: Why don't you change the chorus. It sounds kind of dull.
NICK: No it doesn't. It's the music that needs to be changed.
JOE: No the music is good.
KEVIN: How long are we going to argue over this song?
NICK: Until the music is changed.
JOE: Nick, just look at these lyrics. They're so common.
NICK: You're just mad cause you didn't come up with them.
JOE: Maybe that's why they suck.
KEVIN: Ok. 15 minute break. Starting now.
JOE: Whatever.
[Joe walks out of the room and up to the deck]
[He finds Sheryll standing by the pool and comes closer. She's humming.]
JOE: Hey Sheryll
[Sheryll is shocked and turns around quickly. She slips and falls into the pool]
JOE: Oh shoot!
[Without thinking, he jumps in after her]
SHERYLL: Umm, Joe, I know how to swim so you can let go of me. [She smiles at him and he blushes]
JOE: Oh right.
[They get out of the pool and start laughing]
JOE: Sorry I scared you.
SHERYLL: It's ok. That was fun. So what are you doing out?
JOE: I just came up for some fresh air.
SHERYLL: Me too.
JOE: Are you having fun?
SHERYLL: Well, aside from my friend, Sarah, finding out she's seasick, yeah.
JOE: Your friend didn't know she was seasick?
SHERYLL: Yeah, the three of us haven't been on a ship before. Have you been having fun?
[Joe thinks about the fight he just had with Nick]
SHERYLL: Not going well? Do you want to talk about it?
JOE: The trip is fun, but I just had a fight with Nick.
SHERYLL: About what?
JOE: It's nothing big, I think I should apologize. I guess it's just because we've been stressed out.
SHERYLL: Is that why you guys are on vacation?
JOE: Yeah. Do you want to go jump back into the pool?
SHERYLL: Hmm... [She jumps in before Joe does]
JOE: Hey!
[They swim and play around, and soon lose track of time]
SHERYLL: That was so much fun.
JOE: That was amazing!
[Joe remembers he was supposed to be helping his brothers come up with a new song]
JOE: Oh man. I totally forgot! I'm supposed to be with Kevin and Nick.
SHERYLL: I should go, too. It's getting late.
JOE: I'll walk you to your room.
SHERYLL: You don't have to, I bet your brothers are waiting.
JOE: I insist.
[Joe walks with her to her room and they say good night]
