Wondering what you should be looking for in rendering software for Google SketchUp? This video will go over a few things that are important to have in a good renderer. Download the model and use it as a check list to see if you renderer can render everything.

  • Render Plus is never once said or even shown in the video. In fact, I say in there a couple times that users should try out other renders and see which ones work best for them. The idea was to get people to at least think about some of these things before they go off and buy software.

  • INDIGO stright out

  • i was hoping you were going to do what you said at 6:15 and that is show us how the different rendering programs look compared to one another. still, great video on what to look out for.

  • Many people like to use SketchUp. The free version of SketchUp is less expensive than the commercial version of Revit.

If you want the same rendering capabilities for Revit, check out: Accurender nXt for Revit.

  • this render is just aint real..even the model its like a boy playing with paper tryin`to get the best model he can...sketchup sucks! show us Revit so we can talk real 3D...

  • One (from many other) favourite thing in this software is that you can render the Section Planes so easily, which is quite hard on VRay. Btw. I've seen a few Sketchup nXt animations (like moving parts). How is it possible??

  • which one is free? and the best

  • from all the rederers i've used with SU, this one seemed best. fairly easy to get into, intuitive UI (more intuitive than all the others i tried), intergrated into sketchup and good amount of features.

  • AGREED!!
