Badger Pencil Test

Rough pencil test of grouchy badger from The Fox & the Hound. The xerox copies I have say it's by Glen Keane, but I have not confirmed that . If anyone has the draft for the movie and can confirm who animated this then I'd appreciate it.

I have had the photocopies of these drawings in my collection for a long time. Recently I scanned them and used the "2-Point Stabilization" FX Node in TVP Animation (TVPaint) to register the peg holes . On the original photocopies the peg holes were shifting around quite a bit , but as you can see the 2-Point Stabilization function in TVP locked down the peg hole positions quite nicely. (whatever slight weaving is still there comes from the fact that these are not the original peg holes, but are from photocopies , so the xerox copying process introduced a bit of distortion into the peg holes .)

(As always the YouTube Flash player tends to throw the sound off by a few frames, so the lip sync is a bit soft .)

The way it's animated reminds me sooo much of Bluth. I wonder if he had a bit of a hand in some of this. I remember he was uncredited for alot of his work with Disney.
