this is the second time i've seen a video like this, where the student pulls the cutaway handle thinking it's for deploying the main canopy...do you NOT pay attention during ground school?

Doubtless this is used as a training aid for AFF instructors. But what is with the piss taking? If you are an instructor it is bad attitude. Everyone screws up at some point when learning, whether AFF or the good old cat system ... the only difference is that some cock ups can be seriously deadly.

The instructors here did really well, can you fly with their skill?

Pulling the cut away handle is a seriously bad mistake. Like it or not. I didn't laugh at that shit. I feel sorry for his instructors who had to pull for him on BOTH skydives.
