I read an explanation of Wittgenstein's philosophy that said that; in contrast to Descartes' "I think therefore I am", Wittgenstein pointed out that, the use of language to express that concept, presupposed another mind that could understand what he meant. Therefore, the statement rests on what it is trying to prove, that there is awareness. I think that was it, I could probably put it better.
