We in the west have been taught that these ancient tribes are savage at worst, and primitive at best. With their quaint dances and costumes and sun worship, and various other curiously entertaining yet ignorant and un-evolved practices.
Yet, our forefathers, and leaders today, are so frightened of these cultures that they have systematically sought to murder them, but more importantly, destroy their culture and message to humanity.
Why? Until you begin to ask yourself this question about the "anomalies" of the world you live in, you can't begin your own journey. Another important question is, in every scenario, who benefits?
Why was there no possibility of our co-existing peacefully with these ancient cultures who could have taught us much? Why did we have to slaughter them en-mass and outlaw their teachings with the punishment of death? Why do they, after having suffered this, still have no animosity towards us and continue to preach to us to love the earth and each other and take care of both?
Why indeed, and just as importantly, who benefits from this horrible loss of life, culture and ancient wisdom?
The Wasitchu does not hear, he will devour the earth before he is stopped by his own ignorance and death.
