  • @RaptureandZune Must have hit at a very bad angle then, the Panthers 7.5 cm KwK 42 has 175mm penetration at 500m while the Pershing only has 110mm of armor at best.

  • lucky this panther didnt shot first lol, 1 shot and that pershing is gone

  • sorry but in berlin its t-34/85 make good job againgst last tiger 1 and jagdpanther

  • @xTheWarlordx True because the Pershing gave most of it`s armor up for firepower

  • where is the video of the Nashorn taking out the Pershing ??

  • @jensfav7 The ballistics report table compared the German heavies (e.g. Tiger Ausf B or the Panther) against the Comet, JS-2, Sherman 76 in addition to the Pershing tank

  • @jensfav7 Also there was a report testing the ballistics of a Pershing tank's gun and from what they found out a Pershing could defeat a Panther Ausf D at 2000 yards whilst a Panther had to be at 600 yards or so to have a chance; this was depending on the fact it was what angle (assuming 30 deg) and if the Pershing was using HVAP rounds; they tested this at the Aberdeen grounds and found out at 4000 yards a Pershing could still penetrate up to 25mm RHA at 30 deg sampled from a Panther tank...

  • @jensfav7 Hello! I just had a read on the development of the Pershing tank and from the T25 test onwards they also had these various heavy tank tests like the T29, T30 and T34 (not the Russian tank :P) and apparently they were to be armed with the powerful T7 155mm guns over the T8 108mm guns; there was also a Pershing prototype fitted with a 90mm T15E2 with a longer barrel designed to improve firepower to the Tiger I...

  • @Docs4 Your absolutely right. The Pershing TC should have let the infantry mop up the fleeing crew or used his MG. That way he would of made sure that they don't ever climb into another tank again.
