I personally keep one tied on, but there are times like now winter when something with a tighter wobble will be a better choice, like a rattle trap type bait.
@texasbassangler well the slower the better but i prefer a 6:3:1 because i can reel in line slow if i want to and at the same time reel in really fast if the fish comes swimming fast at me
