I hate to be the guy who makes these kinds of comments, but you're astonishingly beautiful. As informative as this video is, the subject matter and presentation are a liiiiiiittle dry, though.

@Sladkey83 Neurologists from Yale to Stanford, unfortunately, are in fact using Parkinson's medication to treat Tourette (such as Levadopa and Carbidopa). Tourette and Parkinsons are similar in that both affect Dopamine levels in the brain. However medication used to treat Parkinsons can have horrendous side effects on a person with Tourette (it happened to me) so my opinion is that medication for Parkinson's should NEVER be used to treat Tourette, unless you enjoy visiting the ER.

Thank you for the enlightenment. So can Tourettes therapy help Parkinson's and visa vera? This makes me curious because I have MS and now am wondering is focusing on one illness incorrect. Maybe we should be looking at groups on similar diseases instead?

actually Parkinsons and Tourette's are basically opposites, so treatment for one would make the other worse. But yes it is definitely a good point that related disorders can be looked at as groups. I don't know much about MS, but I wish you lots of luck

so ya my friend has touretts and he has a really hard time meeting girls and it mainly comes from hos turetts and it makes him have like no confadince wondering what he could to to improve that

Thats a pretty tough situation. Maybe if he can find another girl who has TS, she would be more understanding. Also, tell him to watch the movie, "Front of the Class." Its about a teacher who has tourette's and he's goes through the same problems with meeting women. Great movie, and might give him some confidence pointers
