At a press conference on Oct. 28, Paul Madore of the Maine Grassroots Coalition was joined by Peter LaBarbera and Brian Camenker from Mass Resistance (designated a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center. Madore confirmed they were working "in union" with Stand for Marriage Maine and the Diocese. The Bishop is now cavorting with confirmed haters.
Also, if you think those people are creepy holding signs, just go to a gay PRIDE parade. There are far more creepy stuff there!!

@nicklansley Actually when polls were done, the MAJORITY of Mainers vote for traditional marriage. The ONLY reason gay activists have made headway in Maine is because they actually BUS THEIR OWN into the state. They do not represent the state at all.

I agree they are alienating voters and they are wrong. The Catholic Church does NOT support gay rights, especially gay marriage. They are entirely for traditional family (just like God intended.. He made Adam and Eve after all and asked them to be fruitful and multiply.)

These guys are doing a sterling job...
..of alienating the electorate, embarassing the Catholic Church and helping gay rights.

I understand that there were more 'NO' supporters there than 'YES' - and in general hardly anyone at al!
The men on stage look like a creepy lot - specially the anoraked one holding the Yes sign *shudder *.

sadly the Bishop thinks he can control the haters but he is mistaken if he thinks he can.
