One of the gentlest and dreamiest tenors I have heard ... please, please, please more of him! I especially like his Danish songs.

This si superbe, however Mc Cormack's version is my favourite - the only record of his i actually enjoy.
The worst is Tito Schipa's ehre he breaks runs and is generally terrible

@kritikerdude I know what you mean but cannot entirely agree. McCormack's singing of this aria is considered by many, including myself, the gold standard. True, he makes little contrast in the middle section, but the runs and breath control are quite wonderful. Jadlowker and Alva are also very good, as well as a few others.

Absolutely amazing. Effortless, full of strength but nothinig forced or affected. Everything everyone else says he is.
