This is the Amiga World Animation Video Vol. 1 from 1990. It was created from animations submitted by the Amiga community. Some of the animations where also by professions in the industry at the time.
This video is largely forgotten about now but it represents what the state of consumer level computer graphics where at the time. At least on the Amiga.
Tools used include Turbo Silver, The Director, Sculpt3D, Lightwave (before it was actually released by NewTek) and Deluxe Paint III.
Okay, I am 13 years old, and really when I get older I wanna be a 3d Animator or computer animator and I wonder if I can find one of these on ebay or something, I know I have more of a greater use to it if it works, I'll burn out the hard drive for it and then I'll be in trouble though.

The first animation in this video scared the hell out of me as a kid. How I managed to not have nightmares about the reconstructed alien face escapes me. Even now as I watch it at 25-years-old, I can feel my skin crawl and can't help looking over my shoulder to make sure that the alien isn't there staring at me with those dead eyes from the darkness.
