Special Operations Airborne Combat Night Jump. 82nd Airborne.On Oct.22nd,82nd Airborne and the Special Operations Team exerted into Afghanistan. As the troops exits the aircraft, count seven paratroopers, yup I'm lucky number seven.

This video was made in 2000...not a combat jump into any other country...as I remember it...it was on Normandy drop zone on Fort Bragg N.C. before 9-11. I know this because I was pulling DZSO duties that night...Incredible how people lie!!!!

22OCT of what year? I can tell you that the 82d hasn't done a combat jump outside of training since Panama, let alone into Afghanistan. The last time that it was even considered was during OIF III when a battalion was slotted to combat jump into the northwestern Iraqi town of Fawga. Plus, even at the beginning of Afghanistan, the 82d and SF were using the MOLLE system, not the LCE, which is obviously in use in this video. Be ashamed of yourself for saying you did a combat jump with the 82d.

God I hate climbing up on the damn seats. Nothing like a tailgate jump. I didnt think you were allowed to chase pallets anymore? Good video.
