Unless we hear a Kiske cover version of an Iron Maiden or Samson song it is difficult to compare the singers.

Michael Kiske sound more like a blend of Geoff Tate and Elvis Presley.

Bruce sings good, but he uses falsetto for all his screams and his head & chest voice sounds strained (forced). Falsetto usually sounds thin and not as powerful compared to full voice, that's how you can spot it. I agree we have to give Kiske 1 or 2 years of live performances to compare objectively. Anyways, Michael was always the more technical vocalist and sang greatly live. On the other hand, Bruce is older and has toured extensively for all these years.

While The Trooper and The Number Of The Beast have not been eaten by time? The Aces High scream is falsetto 100% as it sounds thin and not powerful. The same goes for the screams on Run To The Hills, Number and Rime from the same DVD. Sorry the 3:49 was a mistake, I meant Kiske's screams at 1:06 & 2:01 (watch?v=8GYAz7U9a2w). Kiske's Avantasia staff: watch?v=JRmfjBDKCpE and his solo album Past In Different Ways: watch?v=Qe3u3ofKghM feature technically outstanding vocals!
