  • I love him so much... He sings Moon River, which is 1 of my absolute favs... He has something in his voice that can bring me to tears all of a sudden.... *sigh*

  • Curious why John didn't sing Ye Bank in full (Lowland) Scots since he probably could if he wanted to. This seems odd since its half American half Scottish and theatrical rather than folk, not that there's anything wrong with that. The song was originally intended for a female singer and is about a Ayershire woman who was deserted by a lover that stole her virginity and left her pregnant. "My fause luver staw my rose. But ah! he left the thorn wi' me "

  • The way he sings, 'Ye Banks and Braes of Bonnie Doon' makes me all tearful. Ah, he's so beautiful and his voice just makes me all happy inside :)

  • okay, *tries to calm down*, i was on another window listening to this and he SUNG MY NAME!!! my names Bonnie!! lol i actually screamed... WOW... that is the most beautiful way anybody has ever said it before..

you see i've met him twice and he's never said my name but who cares.. i met him!! lol

  • thank you for the help! now i have another question: does anyone have a recording of just this song? i would love to have it on my ipod, but i'm not sure how to convert this vid so that i can get just 'bonnie doon'. if anyone knows, please tell me! thanks for the help, and thanks for posting!

  • at 4:35 he sings the Scottish song Bonnie Doon

  • what is the song he sings at 4:35? thanks for any help! and thanks for posting!
