This is an African dance from Senegal at the wedding of my friend. It is performed by her husband's parents who are teachers of African dance.

  • He must be marrying a white girl. What is wrong with Black men that they refuse to marry Black women? If this is an interratial wedding than it is a slap in the face to are ancestors that faught so hard to fight the white colonizers and slavers of are people.

  • @ShabazzAllah1 listen you nincompoop, that was one of the dumbest comments I've seen. first, no she's not a "white girl" - she's Egyptian. Second, who gives a flying f*** if she was!?

  • anything429...the first lady - does she teach at the dance collective formerly located in leimert park?

  • @valkie12 I'm not sure where that is but this is a group from Brooklyn, NY

  • Are the dancers American? The style seems American.

  • @nfahwi no, infact they're first generation Senegalese from Africa itself.

  • I am not even mad at grandma she did her thang

  • i remember doing this when i was little

  • @ShabazzAllah1 your views are interesting (i looked at you channel for a moment) but your anger towards an entire race (because of the actions of a few ) outweighs any thoughts of value that you might be able to share.

  • @anything429 leimert part is in los angeles - so i guess it's not her. when i lived in l.a. i used to stand outside her dance class and just enjoy the drumming and the movement...

    thanks for the reply

  • @hannaxyz123 what the hell are you talking about?

  • This is beautiful
