I did it and it worked, the only problem is that now is broken and I had to drop the kensington =D

There's an easier way. Insert a Stanley 100 plus flatheaded screwdriver into the lock and turn clockwise. This rounds the security slot up and the lock falls out. This works with all models old and new.
It only takes a few seconds!
