Don't get me wrong, I am not a fan of Yoko Ono. The only reason I uploaded this is because this features the last recorded music ever made by John Lennon. This is not the final version that was eventually released by Yoko Ono, but this the mix that John was working on on the evening of December 8th, 1980, which was the day of his death. So I thought I would upload it purely for that reason.

  • so was the mystery ever solved? Is that John's guitar riffs or Earl Slick? Or will we ever actually hear the last little bit of Lennon we have left to treasure?

  • @lildarkhorse

    It was John.

  • @NeilFraudstrong

    Dang..... thanks mate!

  • @lildarkhorse

In a bit of a creepy note, John was carrying a briefcase containing the master tapes to this song when he was shot. When he was shot, he dropped the briefcase and all the tapes fell out onto the ground. Sorry to be morbid, but eh.

  • This song is an all-time classic! The ultimate disco song of that period. One of the best songs Lennon ever took part in. And Yoko shines like the true angel she is. We are so lucky to have this music in this world.

  • It's very 80's hey. I could picture this in Scarface.

  • J O my friend(s). You taught me to open my nose, and never be afraid to be afraid. You knew it was about to come undone. You payed the price for throwing the dice in the air.
