Dimitri's is nothing less than a Manchester institution, providing one of the city's most popular and atmospheric dining experiences. It's right at the Castlefield end of Deansgate, opposite the new Hilton Hotel, and makes great use of its appealing location, the Campfield Arcade with its distinctive glass and ironwork. There's an intimate bar fronting onto Deansgate which at weekends features live music along with a late licence. The food served here is the scaled-down version of a main menu that covers a wide range of Mediterranean classics, with an emphasis on Greek food. The restaurant itself is to the rear and can cater for 150 inside, with additional seating for another 50 or so in the arcade. Despite its size, Dimitri's can still get really crowded with the buzzy surroundings and affordable Med food making for an irresistible combination.
