Clearly, as many have said, the traction control cuts in here and limits the power to the wheels.

I've got 2010 Exige S 240 and have had two Elises in the past but tell me, why when a set of Yokohama A048's cost nearly £1000 would you bother, but turning off the traction would be a good starting point!

@archon808 well thats wierd if your telling the truth but ok
-
@makoshark40 Well considering that i own a lotus, ill take my word for it. Traction control, and the rev limiter both cut power to the spark plugs. Therefore they sound the same.

@jeffgooloolie yeah no it dont it sounds like your not pressing the gas to the floor when you are
-
yeah ether tc on or to low of a gear that its not getting enough trq out there and yes theres stuch thing as being to low of a gear ratio to do something like that
-
@2891John2891 yes I realize that, the front was whipping around instead of the back end
-
@treymay10 toyota camrys are front wheel drive...
Every other lotus can light it up. Turn off the TC and try again. You can see the wheels break but then the TC kicks in and stops it from spinning out. The car is mint, the driver doesnt know what hes doing or is a idiot.

Now that I see the video again... I think that "traction control" is on. If it was the open diff problem, the inside tire would really be smoking. "traction control" sounds the same as hitting the rev limiter.
