Im going to put this intro before every final mix video I do, so if this is your first time seeing mine listen up. This is kingdom hearts 2 final mix, the japanese game. If you want this game..GO AND BUY IT. It's available at play-asia and japanvideogames usually very reasonably priced. You need swapmagic to play it on american PS2. All the information you'll need to know about final mix is in a little video I made. You can find it here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_7uAPHOAcPQ&feature=channel
Going to start out by saying this is probably the most epic fight yet, for me anyhow. Now Sep is outdone tremendously by Terra in final mix but in level 1 CM he retains much of his difficulty that made him notorious in KH2. In almost any difficulty you can fight him with limit form, this isn't one of them. Here is a full list of his attacks and what damage they do in level 1 CM (With basic stats, accessories, defense)
Regular Combo:Almost every part of it hits you for 3/4 of your HP, with no real way of getting out of it unless you avoid it completely or guard it is a KO
Air Combo:The starting attack is about 1/3 HP, the next midair hit will finish you off. Unless you avoid the air part or the ground starter you are dead
RC:KO if you miss it
Orbs:1/3 of your HP, making even the small 3 orb attack kill you if you don't at least avoid one of the 3
Firaga Wall:Usually 1/2 of your HP, sometimes 2 hits won't kill you, unless you get hit by it sending you outside the wall, it will juggle and kill you quickly
Sin Heartless Angel: Same as always, 1 HP no MP
Meteor:Just avoid it, I never find that it hits me, but the damage is usually low
3rd Phase normal combo:Close to the same damage as the regular combo, the first hit is usually a bit stronger
As you can see Sep's attacks have all become very deadly. He can really kill you with any attack except Sin. I find the best way to fight him is to finish the first phase by looping, you can see how my combo does it. This ends at 4.5 bars (When he says "Know your place") Now he'll throw in his more regular moves. You'll still want to combo him the same way, but this time try to put some distance between you and him for his combo, this is because I find the closer you are, the more chance he will do firaga wall, which is very very bad. The most common damage I took was from being too close for firaga and being hit in the air for that air combo. I find when you get hit in the air the best strategy is to immediately recover and air combo him, or to reflect. Reflect is easier to pull off, but it's risky, sometimes he will still hit you anyhow. Do what works for you. If you get hit by anything use a potion when you can.
The 3rd phase is really what freaks me out, the speed and annoyance of sep as this point makes me very nervous. You need to remember not to guard too fast, you need to know that sep is going to combo you. Meteor is really a pointless attack, it's weak, just glide around and get ready for sep again. It's hard to make some solid advice for the 3rd phase, get use to his speed, guard only when you know you need to. This fight is intense through and through, I probably died at least 15 times in his 3rd phase, but I'm persistant, and you should be too.
Random Note: Drive to limit if you miss sin, then immediately be ready to do the RC (His common two move strategy) then you can combo and revert.

about the orbs, just wait abit and you can do a roundbreak on them instead of wasting a reflect. Well i mean thats if seph decides not to charge you. The one with 3 orbs can be blocked without using roundbreak or reflect if he uses the rc attack. If he manages to upper cut you, using revenge slash knocks him out of the combo, plus you can do a finisher and land far away from him. If that causes a fast counter then nvm. Oh and anyway to know when hell use a fire wall? I keep getting caught.

@MisterPudd It's very difficult to know he will use the fire, as u can see I get caught as well. The only real way is to be ready to glide at a moments notice when his HP is in that range. Also I tend to stay at far away range because he doesnt seem to do it unless im closer

i prefer air recovering and breaking his combo in mid air if sephi successfully uppercuts me that way you can still chase him down after your first combo and still perform a second one safely, though midway through the second one he usually teleports away

@lozzar That might be safer, my reflect thing was very risky and does not always work, I might try something different next time around.
