and quite often people from out of the area are drawn into the salvation army rehabilitation program, and after they are done and "graduate", they toss them back to the street without a dime to get home (yes, this made our local paper, its true). they actually pay them last i knew, 20 dollars a week at top... they may have done away with that in full. i couldnt watch this kinda crap go on any further, it was time to slap in a 2-week. do some research, the thrift stores do not help much averagely

the salvo truck, they are gonna lie... direct order from him (and this is just one example, there are more), this is in rochester NY, and the guy is a complete and utter retard. come his judgement day, i would love to be there to watch his kind of underhandedness replay for him, and see his responses. corruption runs to far now when it hits christain organizations.

I can tell you that the salvation army doesnt "help" many people at all. I was working for them up until 8 days ago, so i see what really goes on their. "Men of God" who run a business... a f*cking joke. They treat most people as if they do not matter, and let me tell you a story about the "Christain" in charge where i was at... they are having trouble finding a truck driver for min. wage... (lol)... so the next guy is gonna get hired, but not told until he is hired that he will be driving

The Salvation Army's founder is rolling in his grave at how profit oriented it has become. While the executives make high wages and annual bonuses they pay their store manager. Plus everything in their stores is priced close to retail...this is why I won't give this business a dime.
