Warning graphic images! I went deep lake fishing on Lake Tahoe this summer 2007. We had to drop down to 96 feet to catch these fish - it was a slow day but I did enjoy learning more about how to gut a fish as you can see in this video..There is no commentary just the great sound of the boat engine and water crashing.

@Magoo108 - Hello Norway ! Thanks for responding with this additional tip ! My Brother is a skilled fly fisherman and I hope to have some video's by him. I have not been fishing in a while. If you have some videos of your fishing I would love to see them. - Feel free to post a video reply with some more fishing tips.

@dogman75 This video was shot in Lake Tahoe and that is a Mackinaw trout, Salvelinus namaycush, are the big predators of Lake Tahoe. After being introduced into the Tahoe from the Great Lakes in 1886, they rapidly displaced the native, legendary Lahontan cutthroat, leading to the extinction of the cutthroats by the late 1920's. The mackinaw are now the most popular sport fish species at Lake Tahoe, since they provide good action for anglers
