Timothy Kane Television Interview

In January of 1992, at only 14 years old, Timothy Kane agreed to burglarize what he thought was an empty home after being pressured by a 17 year old and 19 year old man. Upon entering the dwelling, the 19 and 17 year old tragically killed the two residents inside the home. Tim Kane had no prior criminal record, never touched a weapon or either of the victims during the incident and stated his desire to leave before watching the murders and entering into a state of shock. Nevertheless, Tim Kane was given two life sentences. He is now 31 years old and has spent more than half of his life in prison. He has never received a disciplinary report, has earned his GED, held the same job for over ten years, and attends church regularly.

It is amazing that such a terrible event can happen in someone's life and they can admit to the world that they were wrong and hope that their story will prevent someone else from making the same terrible choices. It is a fascinating concept.

I don't believe for one moment that Mr.Kane should be in a Maxium Prison, he was not the shooter and never had anything to do with the bodies himself, Mr.Kane was in a state of shock when the crime of robbery occured, Mr.Kane should of been tried as a young offender and not as an adult, just so you know I am a writer and I believe Mr.Kane is innocent of Feleny Murder and I don''t care what the State says.

wow what a very sad story. this poor guy should be let out .he did not kill any 1 .but guys you do live in america and most of your justice system is so corrupt .this guy will have half of his life gone by the time her gets out of prison .they should have a heart and let the guy have a 2nd chance in life.
