It was an act of state sponsored terrorism. The French government blew up a shit and murdered the father of a 8 year old girl on New Zealand soil. If your depraved mind can somehow justify that, and what happened to the French murderers who did this afterwards, I pity you. Only a sad individual, devoid of empathy and a sense of justice, would attack the victims of such an act. You don't work for British Petroleum by chance?

  • To all people who live outside NZ, the rainbow warrior was a big issue because kiwi's hated the French for doing nuclear tests in the pacific so an attack on green peace was an attack on the NZ people. We wanted the French agents lined up and shot and some of us wanted to declare war on France and kick them completely out of the pacific. Even today getting rid of the French from our region is always on our mind.

  • @ar4216 its not called british petroleum anymore.

    it was changed years ago

  • Where is part 2?

  • @22ness0hayden Who cares about international relations when a terrorist act has been committed on your shores? The orders came all the way from the top - Francois Mitterrand himself ordered the bombing of the ship. The allies, including the USA, should have bombed France out of the pacific and teach these arrogant frogs a lesson they will never forget. The USA were treacherous they refused to get involved. Today even protect one of the Rainbow Warrior terrorists in their state of Virginia.

  • @creativeengineer Somehow dude, I don't think that would help international relations

  • @vaestanfors Trouble is the New Zealanders are a laughing stock for letting the terrorists go. How utterly stupid can you be in believing the terrorist French government would duly punish its henchmen? If the New Zealanders has any balls, they would see to all French are banned from entering New Zealand and trade restrictions are imposed permanently. New Zealanders are as weak as droopy daffodils.

  • pretty scary that a democracy with a socialist president at the time is capable of this.

  • @cadmus98

I think someone deleted my response to you or something.

Sea Shepard recieves millions of dollars in donation every year, they are treated like some fucking noble peace prize winners by Australians and New Zealanders when harassing the japanese, even though Sea Shepard has scuttled dozens of ships(including a few in my own country of Iceland).

Thumbs up for Greenpeace not agreeing with their actions though, but Sea Shepard has the same fanboys as Greenpeace does, it's just two fronts.

  • @cadmus98 yeah your right there but in New Zealand waters so they were in direct breach of New Zealand's sovereignty and they had agents operating illegally in NZ

  • @FreddieBambino "Environmentalists do this all the time..."

A small handful of extreme environmentalists have bombed stuff; they represent the exception rather than the rule, don't they? So don't give us this "environmentalists do this kind of terrorism all the time" nonsense. Name one ship that Greenpeace has bombed, and we'll see how invalid your stupid and generalized statement was.
