i made this video while on the beach channel high school crew team located in NYC. the footage is of the varsity 8 rowing first day back on the water , spring 2007 , my senior yr of high school , im 4 seat. enjoy

@confusedkain from what ive heard, coach horn is no longer teaching at beach channel. i am how ever extremely interested in finding out what happened to the shells. if horn isnt coaching ... whos left in charge of the boathouse and equipment ? i think im gonna drive out to the boathouse one of these days to see if the boathouse is still in one piece.

@confusedkain i highly doubt there will ever be any future BC crew team members .... the school itself is closing and the building it being used for 4 smaller schools .... stupid bullshit. hopefully those boats get put to good use by one of those schools. its ashame because we had gotten three brand new boats my novice year ... in 2004

@GioXG1 That really is the most stupidest thing.. Honestly now, kids are going to have to travel how far to the nearest HighSchool? And aside from that wasn't BCHS the only one who did crew team in all of NY? Goddamnit, this sucks.. Good thing I said my goodbyes to the school as it was the other night (Took a trip with some other grads down memory lane Playland.)

@confusedkain i agree it is stupid but ... theres nothing we can do. the city is retarded for closing down channel. the entire school went downhill after i graduated in 2007. im about to graduate college and i still miss the bc crew team .... =/ . the only other school in nyc that has a team is Bronx HS of science. they started off as a crappy team but after a year ... they tore us a new one lol great group of kids too. i would go back and visit but NONE of the teacher i had are still there.
