What if you have a lot of scratches on your CD, will a patch still work?

If the disc installed the game successfully , then the amount of scratches on the disc afterwards is irrelevant. Just look for the patch online and follow the instructions in the video.

Also, check to see if the file crack has the same name i the bin file of the game.
