I do wonder about the US complaining about US$4 per gallon when UK prices are nearly US$9 per gallon, now thats pain!
However that said the US could cut their pump prices in half effectively by driving more fuel efficient vehicles. I am not talking some cow fart powered eco vehicle either.
It seems that US have engines no more advanced than those from the 1970's, European or Japanese cars regularly get double the miles per gallon for the same or less money.
