Great video. Last week i made a trip onboard her sister the "Gardenia" (ex European Endeavour). She was still in very good condition although as she's a freighter there was nothing much to do as a passenger. But it was very relaxing trip and very interesting to be onboard such a ship you normally can not travel with (unless you're a truck driver of course)
@eurovoyager Thank you for your kind comment and for this information.
Last year in Kapellskär in Sweden I had the chance to have a look onboard the “Via Mare”. I found it in good condition, old but all right. All safety systems, I looked at, where all right.
Much better than on the MS Galaxy of Tallink, where I found waste instead of life jackets, blocked escape routes, unusable (painted over) safety systems and a total lack of information.
@Christiansoldiering Sorry, I myself have never seen the Viking Voyager (later Pride Of Cherbourg, Pride of Cherbourg II, Banaderos, Barlovento and now Samothraki) life. So there is surely no footage hidden.
This ship got a good reputation in the baltic see. It has been in the news a few times this winter because it got stuck in several ice fields for days.
