wow! Thanks! This is what we wanted...believe me, many bands are all about the cash and seeing how big they can get their props. Our band wants to bring back plumes and oldtime tunes, like golden slipper and alabama jubilee!!

The thing about Growing up in Philadelphia, was that every one knew some one who did the All Year thing to make that One day Special! This is really a Philadelphia thing, it Happens NO WHERE ELSE! I will all ways remember the Parade, Feeling warm and just enjoying the fun of a Really Big, All Day Parade! Thanks to all the Mummers who make me remember my Happy childhood and the all the Really Great Things about Philadelphia!

I'm in that band! I painted the happy face, the peace sign and the flower....i glazed the bus and pushed the big back drops...we lost 1 piece but we chugged on....it was a had year but a memorable one...thanks for posting we apprieciate it!

Being from Jenkintown, Abington, I have seen the Mummers since I was a Baby.
This is Great as it is there that I am raised and I am Proudly a Hippy!
This is the Mummers I remember, having fun and making the Crowds Smile! Kudos!~
